Well, things went from bad to worse on our computer. I finally took it in to fix the keyboard problem, and found out we had a virus. We are going to have to wipe the entire hard drive. However, we backed up the photos and other docs before we wiped everything. Now I can work on my school computer. Why didn't I think of this earlier? I could have done this a long time ago. Anyway, thanks for the pictures on the other blogs that I have downloaded. You had some great pictures. I hope you enjoy the ones I took.
These are a bit out of order, but we have Cedar City pictures and Arden's birthday pictures included here.

After the Vacation
This is just a little reminder of what we found in our bathtub in St. George. We were assured that they are indigenous to the area, but that doesn't give them free reign in our room!!!!
Last week was really fun! I think everyone had a great time. I hope everyone made it home safely and found all well there. I was going to put on our pictures from last week, but we've run into a computer problem. I downloaded all the pictures onto one computer, and then deleted them from the camera. The next day the keyboard on that computer froze up. We can't access anything we have to type! So, as soon as we get that fixed, I will be up and running with the pictures again! I just wanted to let everyone know that we're still here.
Take care until next blog!

This is our bean and potato patch, with some volunteer onions from last year. I decided to stick with beans and potatoes only so I didn't get overwhelmed in late August and September. We have only two tomato vines this year, along with one watermelon vine.
We should have some good beans in another couple of weeks!
Oh yes, I did let these volunteer pumpkin vines grow up right next to the porch too.

Ripe Tomatoes by the 4th of July!
We are making some progress in the kitchen, we just have to get the crown moulding and the baseboard in place. Countertops and plumbing would help it feel a little more homey as well!
I love growing herbs. The scent they leave on your hands is rewarding too! This is some basil and dill.
More herbs; tarragon, rosemary, thyme, chives, sage, oregano, marjoram and parsley. I will have to post pictures of my lavender. I think it is almost 3 feet tall.
