Mom and Stuff

I am up in the middle of the night to help out my mom. She gets the lovely (NOT) experience of going to have a colonoscopy tomorrow, which means we have to clean her completely out. It is not a comfortable experience by any means. Obviously, I have taken tomorrow off work to be with her. We will all be glad when it is over. She will probably be in bed all day on Friday. I know I would be.

I have a few more pictures of our house and yard. We are really excited to see the end of this part of the project. The only problem is, that, when this is all done, we have the upstairs to do!

This is the material I am going to make the curtains of. This one goes in the bedroom. This one goes in the TV room and the back door.
Here are a few things we (John) has done in the yard. He bought several roses a couple of weeks ago, and now we have this beautiful arbor for something to climb on. I'm not sure what his plans are for the climber. I know he bought a climatis for next to the house on Mom's back door side, but. . . .

Here is one of 2 crabapple trees we had planted this weekend, too. The yard is really going to be lovely.

And, of course, every child's dream toys are the boxes! Gabe had a ball.I am really looking forward to summer vacation. This last month is really hectic, and my stress level gets to its upper limits. I have another double concert this next Wednesday, a school concert the following Monday; John is having a tonsillectamy on the 20th, there are 2 school promotion ceremonies on the 27th, not to mention all the stuff that goes on in between times. Here's to May 31st! By the time Madi's graduation comes along, my stuff will be all done and I can concentrate on her.

I have to keep reminding myself this:

Have a great Month of May!
