Catching up on Gabe's Big Day!

Ok. Now I have some time to show you what the last few days has been. I will begin with the actual day of his birthday. Dad was waiting for us to get home from school so Gabe could get his special surprise: He was so excited, we went straight outside to give it a spin. It took a few

false starts, but he soon started to get the hang of it. After a couple of circles around the driveways, Madi took him to park.

After dinner, we went bowling! We had them put up the bumpers, and it was a good thing for all of us! Madi even got a couple of strikes because it bounced off the bumper and hit the pins just right. It was really sad, though. Madi beat me by 1 point, and I only beat Gabe by 2 points! John had the best score of the evening, but even that was not a great one. We did have a great time, though.

Afterwards, we went home for cake and ice cream and a few more gifts.

But, Gabe is one on those extremely lucky birthday boys who gets more than one party. On Wednesday I took Gabe, Jonas and one of Gabe's friends, Henri, to Chuck E. Cheese. We had a great time.We are looking forward to tomorrow's family get-together at Sara's. We will have a simple dinner (Hawaiian haystacks) and cake and ice cream. I hope everyone has gotten the message.

we are planning on coming over but Andrew won't be able to make it because he has to work. It was so fun to watch Gabe's ride his new bike! I'm sure he loves it. I am so proud of him for getting back up on it after his little tumble on the first video!

Jonas had such a great time with you all the other night. It is nice for him to have boy time. Gabe's is getting so big. He has really gotten tall and he looks so much like John. Can't wait to see you all tonight.

Wow! Gabe needs a farm to ride around. He would never stop if he were up here. Morgan and Zack used to ride all day. I'm sure Gabe doesn't need more muscles, but he will get them if he rides as much as my kids did. what a lot of fun you must have had.
