Christmas at John T's

Christmas here was a quiet affair. We had Santa visit Grandma's side of the house, so Gabe couldn't just go in the living room and peek. He actually had to wait until I had Grandma situated in her wheel chair before he was allowed in. But, he survived. Gabe got his 2 Transformers (Octopus Rime and Bumble Bee), I got a new set of cooking pots (ScanPan) which are realllllly nice, as well as a digital picture frame. John got a new suit (double-breasted and new Birkenstocks). John and I made a nice dinner of prime rib, potatoes, yams and broccoli. I even made key lime pie, but we haven't eaten it yet. (Someone forgot the whipped cream!) We visited with Josh and Stacy last evening while Gabe and Jonas played with new toys.

Today we just kind of relaxed and hung out. John and Gabe went to the store for batteries (Santa brought the wrong kind for Gabe's new train) and that was our only foray into the cold weather.
